Police in Hull appeal for witnesses to motorcycle accidentRSS Feed
Police are calling for witnesses to come forward if they saw a recent motorcycle accident on Humberside.
The Hull Daily Mail has reported on a crash that took place on the Fraisthorpe straight of the A165 and involved a Honda motorcycle and a black Volkswagen Golf.
A 58-year-old man who was riding the bike at the time later died of his injuries after being taken to Hull Royal Infirmary.
Officers in the region have already tracked down several people who saw the accident or events close to it, but they still want more people to make themselves known if they have information to add.
The incident is said to have occurred at 10:46 BST on August 10th, close to a significant bend in the road.
Members of the deceased man's family could wait on the police investigation before deciding whether to claim compensation for their considerable loss, once it becomes clear whether any fault can be attributed to other parties.
