Tributes paid to victim of motorcycle accidentRSS Feed
Tributes have been paid to a 19-year-old woman who died when three motorbikes collided in Wigan last month,
Leah Davies of Lowton was killed as a result of the motorcycle accident, in which all three riders were thrown from their bikes, reports the BBC.
Another of the riders - 18-year-old Ryan Smith - also passed away a short time after the collision, while a 17-year-old boy is recovering from leg and neck injuries.
"We will all miss her greatly but we take comfort in the joy she gave us and the gift of life that she has brought to others," a statement from Ms Davies' family read.
They added that she "loved life" and made the most of every day by living it to the full.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and exactly how it occurred, which could lead to the families of the victims pressing forward with a claim for compensation.
