Two injured in A9 motorcycle accidentRSS Feed
Two people have been injured and taken to hospital after a motorcycle accident on the A9 in Scotland.
A motorcyclist was one of those involved in the smash just north of the Drumochter Pass and was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
He is thought to have suffered a broken arm among other injuries, but his condition is not believed to be life threatening.
The motorcycle collided with a car on the highway and the driver of that vehicle has also been taken to the same medical facility. However, she did not suffer any injuries in the accident.
Northern Constabulary closed the road for a short period after the incident, which is said to have taken place at about 14:15 BST on Tuesday (July 31st).
Those involved in the traffic accident may now wish to consider their options in terms of attributing blame before deciding whether to press for damages to either them or their respective modes of transport.
