Traffic accident injury prompts police appeal for witnessesRSS Feed
Police in Dorchester are appealing for witnesses following a traffic accident last week, which resulted in injuries a Somerset man and Weymouth woman in separate vehicles.
The collision on November 18th on the A37 involved three vehicles, during which the driver of a silver Renault Modus sustained cuts to her hands.
Meanwhile, the man behind the wheel of the Vauxhall Astra sustained bruising and whiplash, which has been known to prompt accident claims in the past.
Sara Mackay, Dorset traffic unit police constable, said: "I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this collision, and anyone who noticed the manner of driving of any of the three vehicles prior to the collision, to contact me.
"All calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence."
The crash caused the road to be closed until 18:00 GMT while debris was cleared and vehicles recovered.
Road traffic collisions are the subject of some of the most common complaints and enquiries made to Dorset Police, which also deals with drink and drug driving and vehicle enquiries regularly.
