Three men injured in traffic accident when van veered off roadRSS Feed
The men were injured during a traffic accident in which the van they were in veered off the road and crashed.
Their white Mercedes van plunged down an embankment off the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road at around 07:40 BST on Tuesday October 2nd.
A 29-year-old driver and a 44-year-old, both male, suffered serious injuries but are in a "comfortable" condition in Ninewells hospital while a 44-year-old male passenger, who also has serious injuries, is said to be in a "critical but stable" condition.
The traffic accident caused the road to be closed for three hours as investigations into the accident, which did not involve any other motorists, were carried out.
Sergeant Neil Morrison of Grampian Police is reported in The Press and Journal as saying: "It is still too early to determine the cause of the accident.
"However, I am extremely grateful to the motorists who stopped to render assistance to the injured parties prior to the arrival of the emergency services."
