Survivor of two traffic accidents scoops £4m on lottoRSS Feed
A man who survived a motorcycle accident before getting in another serious traffic accident has won £4 million on the lottery.
Graham Tustain, 47, was in a coma for 13 weeks after being involved in a motorcycle accident.
Doctors said he may never wake up from the coma and if he did, the likelihood was that he would never walk again.
However, Mr Tustain from Oxfordshire defied the odds by learning to walk again, only to get into a serious traffic accident when a tyre burst and his car flipped into a hedge.
He was left hanging upside down in the car for four-and-a-half hours.
After finding out he had won over £4 million on Saturday's lotto draw, Mr Tustain unsuccessfully tried to ring his brother, wrote his name on the back of the ticket and went to bed.
His elder brother, Bob, 62, said: "He's like a cat with nine lives. He thoroughly deserves to win this with all that's happened to him in his life."
