Scotland has been rocked by traffic accidents at the weekend, after a motorcycle accident has claimed the life of one man, while a separate incident has left another in hospital.
Paul Keag from Northern Ireland sustained fatal injuries after colliding with a car on the A82 Inverness to Fort William road near Drumnadrochit.
Meanwhile, another man was badly hurt in a motorcycle accident after an incident on the A949 Skibo to Bonar Bridge road at the weekend.
In Dundee, a woman was killed after being struck by a car when crossing Riverside Drive near Discovery Point in the city.
She and another man who is in hospital were hit just a few hours after a nine-year-old boy was seriously hurt after being struck by car while out on his bicycle in Dundee.
The incidents come after official figures revealed that road traffic accidents in Scotland last year were at their lowest in 60 years.
