Police officers 'injured in traffic accident'RSS Feed
Three police officers were taken to hospital following a traffic accident while taking part in a driving course in an unmarked car, reports say.
According to the Worcester News, two women and one man were injured in the crash, after the silver Volvo they were in was involved in a traffic accident with a black Honda at Martin Hussingtree near Worcester.
The incident, which occurred on January 17th, left one of the women and the man with neck pain and the second women with chest pain.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police told the newspaper: "No members of the public were injured but three police officers have been taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester.
"I don't have details of their injuries at this time but I don't think it's life-threatening."
This comes after two teenagers died and one man was seriously injured during a traffic accident when the car they were in spun out of control, hitting a tree and smashing into a garden in Liverpool.
