Personal trainer awaits ski accident claim verdictRSS Feed
A personal trainer injured on a winter sports holiday is set to hear the outcome of her accident claim.
Emma Moore, from Northamptonshire, was paralysed during a ski-doo accident in the Italian resort of Paradiso Passo Tonale, the Northampton Chronicle has reported.
Lawyers making the accident claim argued that the company which had sold her the trip on the snowmobile had done so without offering her any safety training and no guidance on what to do in an emergency.
They claim this resulted in the injury, which occurred following the accident.
The news comes after it emerged that a mother of three, Tracy Boland from Buckinghamshire, died on the piste in Austria.
Although an experienced skier, Mrs Boland was unable to prevent her collision with a Dutch tourist, who was also left seriously injured following the incident.
The 46-year-old died despite the appearance of a doctor on the scene, passing away on the mountainside.
